Mission Statement

Cristina’s Closet was founded on the belief that all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. This is achieved by providing the community a safe, nonjudgemental resource where anyone can come and get some clothing and register for workshops to get back to work. No cost! No questions asked!

Our Vision

To build a community where individuals have access to the clothing, resources, and support they need to succeed, while providing opportunities for personal growth through volunteering, educational classes, and workshops. By empowering individuals with confidence, skills, and opportunity, Cristina’s Closet fosters dignity, self-sufficiency, and a brighter future for all.

Who is Behind Cristina’s Closet

Cristina McInnes is the founder of Cristinas’s Closet, a nonprofit organization established in April 2022. She
created this initiative to provide a safe, judgment-free space where members of the Yuma community can
receive clothing for job interviews and professional needs at no cost. Under her leadership, Cristina’s Closet has served over 2,000 individuals, distributing more than 7,000 outfits, all sourced from community donations.
Cristina is married to Andrew, and together they are dedicated to supporting and uplifting their community.
